The Sumak Rug design originated from a very small area in Russia. The rug is 165 stitches x 223 stitches. It is charted using DMC floss colors. The approximate finished size stiched on 50 count silk gauze is 4 1/4" x 5 5/8". Stitch it on 60 count silk gauze for a quarterscale rug with the approximate finished size of 2 3/4" x 3 3/4".
